FAQ
How can I pay?
We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.
Is your site secure?
Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.
How do I access my patterns?
Once you have ordered a pattern, the site automatically makes an account for you. You will receive an email with log in information - a link to a page where you can edit your settings such as user name and password. Once you are in, make sure you download the pattern to a hard drive or upload it to a service like drop box so that you can access it indefinitely.
I have run out of downloads!
Don't panic! PM Katie on Facebook or email her at info@duckbuttdesigns.com. In the future, be sure to download the pattern or upload it to a cloud based server so that you can access it indefinitely.
There was an update! Do I have to buy the pattern again?
Nope! Just redownload the pattern and you will automatically have the most recent version. Updates will be announced in the Facebook group.
Where are the instructions for the Free Raglan?
There are three albums in the Facebook group in the photos tab, all dedicated to a thorough walkthrough of the raglan including information on working with knits, tips for using a sewing machine or serger, sizing charts, and more! Be sure to check it out.
WHY aren't there neckband measurements? I'm bad at math!
Don't worry; I am too. Can't arithmetic my way out of a paper bag.
The reason that DBD doesn't include actual measurements is two-fold. On one hand, the BEST way to get a proper neckline is to make sure you are tailoring it to the exact garment you are using. Really! It may seem intimidating but as long as you can measure and use a calculator, you will be fine. Most of the time, I make sure that I have my phone with my while I am cutting so that I can ask Siri "What is 80% of 14?".
Secondly, once you know how to measure for and cut a neckband, you will be able to do it anywhere, anytime, with any pattern. No going back and forth for dimensions. No cutting out fussy tiny rectangles of paper. Just you, a calculator, a ruler, something to cut with, and a perfect fit every time.
Who is your favorite Avenger?
Oooh, that's a tough one. I mean, Tony is so deliciously snarky, Cap is so wholesome, Hulk.... smash, and Hawkeye... poor Hawkeye. Thor isn't human so that feels like cheating. I'm going to have to go with Black Widow on this one. I really hope we get a fantastic solo movie from her. And maybe get some more more women in there...
